For the second time in the less than four months, the US Senate has resoundingly voted in support of continuing the genocide in Gaza by rejecting two resolutions aimed at blocking some $9 billion in weapons to the Israeli government.

These are the 15 Democrats that actually gave a shit about human rights and ending genocide:

    Bernie Sanders (Vt.),

    Richard Durbin (Ill.),

    Martin Heinrich (N.M.),

    Mazie Hirono (Hawaii),

    Ben Ray Luján (N.M.),

    Tim Kaine (Va.),

    Andy Kim (N.J.),

    Ed Markey (Mass.),

    Jeff Merkley (Ore.),

    Chris Murphy (Conn.),

    Brian Schatz (Hawaii),

    Tina Smith (Minn.),

    Chris Van Hollen (Md.),

    Elizabeth Warren (Mass.),

    Peter Welch (Vt.).

Fuck every other Democrat and Republican Senator that voted to support genocide

Both Hawaii senators voted for human rights and against genocide! I am pleased. At least we have a tiny sliver of civilization left in the US government. NM too, looks like. Good on you, NM.

So 15% of the senate, 30% of the partizan faction in the Democratic Party feels this way.

It may be that this is an issue that is large enough to be electorally relevant.

Right. They should resign. So 100% of the organization can support Israel in peace. That’ll fix everything. Good plan.

Better Plan: vote in representatives that represent you, and stop listening to those that make you feel warm and fuzzy. But, this is a harder plan. Requires the majority of voters to, you know, try.
