It’s cosmetic damage only. Car still works. Tesla owners are, right now, driving around a symbol of modern day fascism. People warned them about it for months that this is happening.

Does it suck for the people who own one and have no other vehicle they can drive instead? Yeah. I feel bad for them. But it’s unfortunately a necessary evil…because it’s working.

It’s collapsing the Tesla stock price. Teslas are becoming difficult and expensive to insure. It’s becoming risky to even own one or drive it around. It’s making Trump and Musk extremely uncomfortable, to the point that Musk made Trump promote his company on the White House lawn. It’s been one of the best American protests that we’ve had in a long time, and it only inconveniences one group of important people - current/potential Tesla car/stock owners.

Musk, and billionaires in general, need to understand that when you try to take away the rights of Americans, we will fuck your business over. We will make sure that you can’t sell your product, and that owning your product is risky, expensive, and not worth the price.

Protest Musk, not individuals. Ruining other peoples’ cars is just retribution and in-fighting. If you want to send a strong political message, don’t pick on the little people.

this is what they want us to do

I mean I can understand doing this outside the US, but in the US there are much better ways to protest then destroying private property. I mean even if this would somehow get rid of Musk completely you still have a fascists government with Project 2025. This only helps to divide the American people further and the people in charge propably are happy to see it and simply will exploit this division further.

The only divide is between capitalists (those that make money by owning equipment others work on) or workers (those that work directly for their living). Why should workers be held to a goody two shoes standard when those brainwashed into fighting against their own allies do things like drive cars into protestors or do lynchings? People’s cars getting damaged is way less important than the extra-judicial kidnappings and literal genocide going on.

Also as a side note, private property is property held by buisnesses in order to make money of of them, you’re reffering to personal property, which is what people own for their own use as tools. Thats the distinction when people speak about abolishing private property, it doesn’t mean you can’t own your own house, it means you can’t horde houses to profit from people’s living situations.

Sounds like you need to read up more on the civil rights movement. That had many elements that were even more aggressive than damaging a couple of cars.

He has dismantled the government, clearly you can see why that would be a bad thing.

        They’re destroying America.

He’s a non-American who has fired hundreds of thousands of Americans from essential important jobs that are necessary to keep our country functional. I hope he falls foot first into a wood chipper, and has to spend the rest of his fortune keeping himself alive.

He is not dismantling the government but yes he has fired many government workers. He works in a position appointed by the POTUS in an attempt to reduce bureaucracy, waste, and fraud. The government still exists and employs millions of workers(approximately 3,000,000).
