I don’t recognize the need to identify the people to blame. There are multiple parties with various degrees of culpability. Yes, the primary blame lies with people who orchestrated the exploitation. But blame also lies with those who feel for such and obvious grift, and those who didn’t vote, and those who voted third party out of protest.

Since you are so concerned about 3rd party voters, surely you are working to do away with First Past The Post voting in your state so people can vote outside the two party system without a spoiler effect.
