Four-day work week success in Germany

Germany trialled a new four-day work week with great success, as 73% of companies will continue to only work four days out of the week.

They call it the ‘100-80-100’ concept. This means employees will retain 100% of their salary, work 80% of the time, but contribute 100% of their output still.

      I’m based in the US but VPN into Switzerland for better online privacy (as well as a mix of other techniques).

      The host of my instance was gracious enough to allow me to use it. I’m not physically in the EU, but that doesn’t mean I need to go around with a US-centric view on everything. Maybe realize there are other countries in the world, and that ours (the US) is by no means “tHe bEST.”

        Literally not a single soul on all of lemmy has ever said the US is the best. You might be thinking of a different social media with “truth” in the name.

        1. I was only referring to the undefined part. 2) I’m not from or in the US, so that isn’t “our” country. 👍👍 You joining a Swiss instance should surely make you aware that people from elsewhere than the US can make comments on Lemmy. 😁
