You can’t change someone’s mind without being willing to change your own. I agree there are red lines however, but we have to learn to deal with our families and the reality is that parts of them will be right leaning. When talking is possible, it is always valuable to share your perspective and listen to others’ (hate speech aside, no tolerance to that shit). This matters even if you don’t “change their minds” because it gives them feedback.

Humans are social animals. I know that people clowning on Trumpo is having an effect on the magats, even if they’re too dense to express it properly.
