Well I’ve never said that one should punish white men out of spite. Those are your words.

But again. Kinda ironic that the way for minorities to get it better is to make sure poor white men have it better first. Isn’t this the problem tho?

I don’t care about democrats or republicans. That system is flawed to the core. It’s built to keep this power balance who ever you decide to vote for. Or to be honest, don’t vote at all because it’s rigged for people to not be able to vote.

In a society where white men are favored they still have that. Which isn’t a small thing! They will probably always win if put up against women or people of color when looking for jobs.

I bet a lot of the minorities would prefer to be a white man to have it easier in life.

Kind of ironic saying they have nothing and then automatically being accepted in the powerful fine boys club which fight for their kinds right to stay in a superior place in society.

So because it’s everywhere it’s good?

These arguments just maintain the status quo. Yeah its everywhere and it’s almost normalized but it’s not in anyway a good thing. There should be laws against gambling and especially when you target children.

Well if you installed and set it up by yourself you already are way more advanced than a normal user. But again one easily is blind to that fact.

One easily gets blind of the fact that it takes quite a lot of knowledge of computers to run Linux. You often see stuff that scares the shit out of a regular user.

The problem is the experience is not customized for a person who doesn’t care HOW it works. They just want to do their stuff without hassle.

I’ve tried this a couple of times and mostly I end up being a 24/7 computer fixer hotline and end up installing macOs or windows in the end to make everyone happy

I tried getting my mom on Linux mint. Kinda made me realize it’s not as user friendly as I thought. I would go with windows or macOs if they just want everything to “work”

Sooo… Is there an alternative to be secure other than switching to another OS? Not that I’m doing anything interesting but I would like to have at least a bit of privacy.

I’m amazed that they put scientists on this. A toddler could see these results coming. Well at least a European toddler. American toddlers are probably eating crayons with their parents.
