They are really putting in the work to make FreeCAD not suck. I was a SolidWorks pro and still found FreeCAD quite unintuitive to use. Ondsel has fixed a lot of those issues… looking at you dimensioning tool. It also “just works” on Linux which is really nice (a friend tried on windows and not so much lol)

I’ve found Ubuntu and steam to just work with very little need to ever open the terminal (aside from setting up mic noise canceling w/ speakers). Most stuff that you install via terminal has its own guide. GPT / stack overflow can fill in most other gaps.

Google maps, venmo, and lyft are my last real holdouts.

I tried Osmand~ but it like using your dads Garmin from 2005. The last two have been hard to find good alternatives to. Would be nice if signal payments were in a stable coin instead of a shitcoin.
