I’m not approaching it from a position of business analysis and how it is good for their stocks.
Just as a consumer where how much Nintendo makes is irrelevant to how it impacts my cost of gaming.
Biggest problem of Nintendo systems has been how the prices of games just don’t fall at the same rate. So even if the console is cheap price quickly goes past the the lifetime cost of Sony or PC even if the initial cost for both systems are higher.
With internet archive head quarters being in the US what would happen if the administration went after them? Would people from other countries be able to keep the project going?
Never because I’m cheap and also I don’t want to pay a premium for a buggy unoptimized experience. Even when I had the game pass trial I didn’t play games day 1, since games needed several patches to be acceptable.
I think they can be used to reclaim your steam account if you lose access, so that’s why I like to keep mine. And it’s neat.
Pipepipe - newpipe fork with sponsorblock and Google account fallback for restricted videos
Quillpad - Google Keep replacement
KeepassDX - password manager and nice keyboard that autotypes what you want without copy pasting
Syncthing-fork - for syncing files
Is this patch needed for shadps4? Or just ps4 and ps5 jailbreak users?
I feel safer with F-droid than I do downloading random unknown apps from Google play.
Bonus points if you talk like an old timer from the 1920s.
I think most people would be more likely to leave if things get bad enough. Question is if they can recognize the signs before the point of no return where escape routes are closed off.
Maybe there’s a chance those games will come to GOG now that there isn’t the psn requirement.
It’s open source so why not just take the best parts of it and run it themselves if it is such a worry instead of relying on their app and website.
With how small base storage is on phones and macs this can come in useful.
Ah that makes sense. I just ended up filtering out the tone of the title and just took in info of Stardew Valley support and Haunted Chocolatier.
Lot of writers suck when they try to angle something that is positive with negative undertones.
I’m very confused. I’m searching for the angry gamers but don’t even see comments in the article posted. Who is being ranted at? Is there some widespread drama I’m being left out of?
You have the same information available to you as everyone else. Yet I’m guessing you have a different stance on the issue than the “idiots”? How is that? I’m assuming you aren’t any richer than them, smarter, or connected.
So if you can come to a rational conclusion on matters what is the excuse of other people? There’s likely not anything particular special about you that made you an exception from the masses.
Playing on a high refresh display with frames higher than 60 might help too.
What hurts GOG is its stance on DRM, since companies don’t want games to be DRM free. It leads to late releases if it does come out leading to missing out on a lot of the purchases associated with hype. Leads to less games being sold at full price which happens most at launch with games having to rely on discounts older they get.
They may not be politicians but they spend money to get themselves into positions of political power as these few days have shown with Musk. And these people get most of their power from the masses that are dumb enough and bigoted enough to be swayed by a shared common hatred of groups to scapegoat for everything.
