Amazing answer! I’d add that in my experience the best antidote for depression is getting out there and organizing. You’ll feel a lot better when you see how well our message can resonate when you do it with people who make a habit of putting theory into practice, it’s also a great way to make IRL friends. There are active ML parties all over the world!

I did, I was just coming here to see where we’re talking about it. It’s not huge but various activists groups shut down 4 intersections near the US Capitol. As a relatively new Lemmy user can anyone point me at the right spot to be talking about actually organizing successes?

Yup, my best friend is a communist, he’s the one that got me into it. He’s not the most articulate guy in the world but he’s intellectually honest and never stopped trying. I’ve been slowly converting more and more folks. Lucky for all of us it’s getting easier and easier to convince people capitalism is killing us. From there it’s not a big jump to socialism.
