I don’t blame the UK for trying to stay out of the US-Canada tariff conflict, but eventually they’ll have to make hard decisions. Canada always stood by the UK, part of the British Empire, as a dominion and as an independent state. Canadians joined the UK to fight in both world wars, and many made the ultimate sacrifice which us, modern Canadians, honour with reverence. We never forgot our historical ties. Will the UK reciprocate?
