I use both Edge and Chrome for school, and the textbooks are multiple 1000+ page pdfs. Chrome leaves Edge in the dust for ctrl+F searches in the PDFs. I have no opinions between them beyond that, but in that case Edge is borderline unusable

The insistence on showing the AI summary at the top of the page is wild to me. They can be dangerously wrong. It seems like a massive liability for what benefit? Just more AI = good? I don’t get the thinking there on the part of major search engines

I just quit a job because they lectured me for not staying later than I am scheduled. “John stayed late, and it was his birthday. It just seems like you aren’t being a team player.” Good for John. I’m going to keep doing what is on the job description and schedule though
