That reminds me of 2015 when there was a big flood in Chennai. We were working on a project and the software team was located there. Thankfully upper management and the CEO office knew better and sent a support email to them and I believe they reprimanded the other manager.

After a few days we learned that some employees actually lost their lives and the office itself was affected and they’re were not able to return to work for a few weeks
