“Checks and balances” were a sham… for decades already. Now you just have a bad actor in a broken system.

There’s also a law against rape and pedophilia. Didn’t stop him either.

GAYMAN

This proposal would make much more sense after the bubble collapses.

Sometimes they just hire an outside consultant as a scapegoat. You can’t tell me the CEOs don’t know they need to fire people to lower operational costs. Consultants help to decide who to fire and how to package it for employees, the board, shareholders and the public. That way the CEO can cover his ass.

True that. The problem is probably my social and professional bubble that I need to get out of.

That makes a lot of sense. If the print just holds the critical parts, forget it.

I write software but I radicalized myself with Solarpunk. Now I need to find a way I can put my talents towards a tech positive future while Big Tech is turning fascist and hate against LLMs becomes nondifferentiating.

I agree, but does that really inform proper carbon sequestration to combat climate change? It feels a bit like a stretch to make such a connection so early in a discovery/analysis.

The public health boomerang

The algos don’t need to deny any or every part of a gun, but the most critical part must not be printable and it’ll already be effective.
I’m neither very experienced with firearms nor printing, maybe such a thing doesn’t exist for a gun, but I suspect there’s a few very important pieces that need to be printed a certain way or the firearm falls apart or is at least a lot less useful.
All that said, I’m generally against such limiting mechanism in any printer or compiler. Try close sourcing all compilers so they can’t create malware? Forget it.

Yeah, wtf is this expression? Are we trying to make it sound cool now?
I tried this trick once, but I failed because I was in Australia.
Many countries are already implementing independent payment systems. What’s missing is international payments that could be simple, but most of these national systems don’t allow interoperability yet. I really hope they tackle this soon.
That and reserving money like for car rental and other deposits. Shouldn’t require a credit card. A bank or payment provider could implement this transparently.

True, quantity isn’t better than quality, but it may cover more interests and cater to a larger customer base, but who are we kidding.
To me it feels Netflix doesn’t have enough signal in the noise. The recommendations rarely deviate from what they generally suggest to customers or my niche just doesn’t have enough shows to watch.
But I’m not sure Netflix actually knows my favorite genres and how they might be combinable. It just suggests general Shonen anime, when I only watch some specific genres of shows regardless whether they are Japanese, animated or neither.
I dunno, can’t be that hard to zero in on my tastes or it doesn’t matter to them that much after all. Who knows.

And I doubt they would pose an imminent danger even if they were committing a crime. Nothing justifies these killings.

It’s terrible. Now in summer where you can go to places and sit outside to brunch, dine and drink, you practically got cigarette smoke in your face the whole time. But “it’s okay” because you’re outside and the wind that blows this shit in your face eventually blows it away. At least that’s the reasoning why they can ruin our experience.

Cause he still seems to know more than OP?

Didn’t Medvedev already admit to it?
