Sorry! I would tag out the spoiler but I can’t find how to do it ATM. My Google-fu is failing me.

The comments underneath your are clearly why too!
You’re correct there. My wife and I draw many parallels to the show at times. The latest episode of Linda wanting to go on a family walk, only to get blisters from her new shoes is totally something that would happen to my wife.
My wife and I are always hunting for the burger of the day. It’s obufiscated in many episodes and requires desyphering at times. The intro store is like a “gimme” in this regard.
I can’t think of a great translation, but this reads something like this to me - “Scientist removes required nutrients from living cells while playing calm music during their death, and determines they will in fact die after a while.”
Awesome, thanks for explaining that. For some reason my despecialized is only 720p, so I may hunt down those 4K upscaled just to see a quality comparison on my end. I know there’s only so much that can be done, but with checking out on my part at least.
Did you even read my comment? You realize 30 Seconds to Mars is over 20 years old, right? It’s been a gradual deterioration of his character over the years.
I can’t stand this asshole and don’t understand how he keeps nailing acting roles in top movies of genres I love. Anytime I see him cast in a movie I’m interested in, it just deflates my anticipation to almost zero.
30 Second to Mars used to be top tier like 10-15 years ago, but after seeing him about 5 years ago I’ve lost all respect for him in all aspects of his career. He took the stage dressed like Jesus and proceeded to spin around for 3 hours while the entire crowd sand his songs for him. Absolutely abysmal show.
Hopefully this is the last we need to hear and see of this jackass, but time will tell.
It’s 4K83 different than the despecialized? I have the 720p versions but if they’ve gone beyond that then I need to reeducate myself.
I gotcha. And completely agree with Tunic as well. Unlocking the in game manual to learn more about the game around you was an amazing discovery. I actually bought the physical manual to it which was also made with great quality.
We bought it used of course haha. We looked at new but it was more bang for our buck with a 20YO house. My wife wants to rip all the carpet up but bigger house means bigger problems of course lol. HVAC last year, and now the kitchen appliances are starting to go. Thankfully the roof was done before we moved in
Wife wanted a cordless vacuum this year after our main driver died. Our house is multi levels and about 80% carpet and I’ve always been sceptical of the efficiency of the dinky cordless vacuums. I then found this guys testing videos on YouTube and immediately changed her mind.
We ended up finding the highest performing Shark from below for $250 refurbed and it performs as well as he shows.
Also need to give a shout out to Miele. German made and my dad swears by his, just a bit too rich for me to afford right now.

I grew up in the NES era but could never get into this game. Was just a bit too young for it but damn your comment makes me want to give it the college try now. We had the NES version of Maniac Mansion that I also spent many hours trying to solve but was just too young for it too. Platformers were my jam though. MegaMan 1-6, Darkwing Duck, DuckTales, ect.
As for Metal Gear, I loved the PS1 version and based on your description seems the closest to the original of the “newer” titles. I was very disappointed with MGS2 but enjoyed MGS3s story. Never gave 4 or 5 a chance though because of the same reasons you mention. It became way too campy.
I thought I was going to die on a plane during depressurization once. My head literally felt like it was going to pop from my forehead and the pain was so immense I hunched over as to not cause panic in the aircraft.
It had happened a couple other times before this particular instance where the front of my head felt immense pressure during the planes decent. It also caused major headaches that lasted several days after the incident.
I looked it up after this event and made an immediate appointment with my doctor. Turns out some 10% of men can be affected by this where fluid builds up in your forehead “sinus pouches” I’ll call them, and during the planes decent it will depressurize. During depressurization this fluid will push against your brain. You can see a similar action with a half filled waterbottle during this time. They implode a little bit. That’s what was happening to my head.
My doctor prescribed me a nasal spray I need to take 30 minutes before take off to drain my sinus. It’s worked ever since.
Government jobs work differently than corporations. There’s a lot more red tape like security clearance to getting one of these jobs than a typical business job as your usually dealing with classified information on some level every day. They can take your pension benefits away among other things I imagine if you are fired rather than resigning.
Same here. Ordered something last week and it’s still in “ordered” status with no shipment or tracking confirmation. Brain can not stop thinking if it will actually be here on time with only a day and a half left.
Strisand effect for sure!
I thoroughly enjoyed short circuit 2 more than the first as a kid, but they are both great.
This is… New information to me. Thank you!
