  • There aren’t really set meanings for words.

They are just a symbol used to represent something and what that something is depends on who says it and who hears it.

For example in the United states our current idiot in charge has started saying that being a leftist is terrorism but does not say that states that use terror to rule over their citizens are terrorists.

This same thing is why words have different meanings in different areas

Its not like a word is a fundamental part of the universe that just exist they are formed through peoples interactions and needs to communicate either more clearly or in a way that isn’t clear to outsiders

Idk if this makes sense because it is also a small bit of a rant based on a topic I feel strongly about

  • Not the actual position of combat medic but the closest thing someone not in the armed services can get, I am going for my paramedic two but that covers more than traumatic injury so takes longer

Combat medic covers things like gsw and stabbings and blunt trauma to a higher extent than most people can get

Realistically I work in normal emergency medicine but I am trying to go in with a focus on traumatic injury especially since I am in an area where shootings and stabbings aren’t uncommon

  • I think it is but the job Is also pretty stressful as a baseline plus since I just got into it I am at a pretty shitty company but the actual field is something I like and actually lets me help people.

Specifically i am working in ems in one of the larger cities of my state

And once i finish school i am gonna go through and get training that is roughly being a basic combat medic and then after a bit I am gonna upgrade to the civilian equivalent of a full combat medic.
