Home ownership in the US has hovered between low 60% and high 60% for around 6 decades now, but sure, let’s pretend that it ain’t possible no more because some people only want to post doom-and-gloom bullshit because they have ulterior motives.

This should be a wake up call to the DNC brass and to people on social media who have been blindly claiming that Republican voters are only rich white old men.
Not only is that stereotype simply not accurate, but this endless and insufferable focus from the Left of only chasing social issues is turning off a whole bunch of regular folks out there. Instead of championing causes that can help literally millions of people out there, time and time again the Left is worrying about bullshit like pronouns and drag queens. Dems are constantly assuming that just because someone is br9wn or black that they will agree with core Democratic party policies. The reality is that there are many folks from minority ethnic groups who are conservative or moderate and they see the Dems wasting all their time and effort on these fringe groups.
I always think of it like Pokemon. I want to collect them all.
But it’s hard to say goodbye!
The CEO said collecting vintage cars.
I know people aren’t going to believe this, but honestly, you don’t need to be a bazillionaire to collect vintage cars. It sure helps (a lot!!), but depending upon what he was collecting, you can buy certain classics for (relatively speaking) cheap.
The director at my old company was into classic cars too and we would shoot-the-shit all the time about his cars and mine.
I heard this years later by my former boss. He used to work for a company that just announced some lay-offs because work was slow. Right as the lay-offs were being announced the head of the company pulled into the lot with his new Porsche lease. It was terrible timing, but the corporate lease was up and the car was ordered months prior. Just made the owner look especially tone-deaf since the car came the same say as the lay-off announcement.
If 1 person has a question, then chances are good most people have that same question but are too afraid to ask it in front of everyone.
Amazing what Elon Musk single-handedly was able to accomplish.
You didn’t talk about how coffins are sold for many thousands of dollars when they are just cheap plywood boxes that shouldn’t cost more than a hundred bucks and that serve no purpose other than to decay as quickly as possible.
Literally ANY hobby can seem boring to most people, but it wouldn’t be a hobby if people that got into it didn’t find it interesting as all hell.
give up
No. That’s not what companies do.
BMW and Mercedes were the “leaders” in milking their customers and thus they got the most bad press. All BMW is doing is waiting until more companies start doing this and the whole idea of subscriptions in the car business becomes normalized to the public.
Unless consumers continue to shun this concept and the press blasts these companies for trying to push this nonsense, it will make a comeback in the years to come. Unfortunately, I simply do not think consumers will look at their long-term interests. Its like telling gamers not to pre-order the hottest upcoming releases because it encourages companies to release buggy software… all the pleading in the world ends up falling on deaf ears. Same too, I believe, will happen in the car market.
Should have drawn a string of yawn in it’s mouth as it tries to trip the human.
I have been talking about this for a while now. The video is interesting in how it breaks down some of the issues (how vegans indirectly challenge accepted norms and traditions), but I think one thing they missed is very important. And it isn’t unique to vegans. HOW vegans act is incredibly grating to others, and the bigger picture is that this is how many liberal groups act leaves a bad taste in the mouth of more centrist people.
In the video the lady mentions how vegans can be seen as pushy and self-righteous. Again, it isn’t just vegans. Liberals are terrible at connecting with the general public. As she mentions in the beginning of the video, most people consider themselves animal lovers to some degree, so how can groups like PETA be so hated. There are the issues that she mentions about going against societal norms and subconsciously bringing up the thought that people who eat animals also state they love animals, but I think a huge part of it is also HOW groups like PETA spread their message. They use in-your-face abrasive tactics.
And other liberal groups do the same. There are those environmentalists who block entire highways to spread their message. They aren’t accomplishing anything other than turn people who might sympathize with their cause and turn them against them. They block tired people who just want to get home from work and force them to sit in traffic for these protest. Their tactics breed animosity.
Liberals (especially in the US) need to take a long, hard look at how they spread their message and need to change their tactics quickly. They are doing more harm than good.
No way would that kid be frowning. If this was legitimately in the late 70s or early 80s that kid would be ecstatic with the graphics.
They are laughing at you, not with you.
But WHY? God I can not understand why someone would willingly use iOS. I have both an Android and iPhone and every time I pick up the iPhone I wonder why anyone would use this willingly.
TNG > OG series any day, everyday.
This isn’t even the last word in this nonsense.
The latest is that Musk, who clearly never knows when to shut the fuck up, called Zuck a coward when Zuck essentially offered Musk an “out” by saying to move on.
Hate both these fucks, but Zuck would destroy Elon. Time and again Zuck is giving Elon a way out of this and time and again Elon finds a way to look like an even bigger loser.
Getting beat by Zuck is going to push Elon past “deluded rich douchebag” to full-on Bond villain, I fear.
Do they even know that??
Being good for a group of people is not the same as them knowing that you’ve been good for them. This is eternally where Democrats fall flat on their faces.
