I’m not sure what you mean.
I have tried KDE several times, and can’t bring myself to like it.
To each their own.
Right? I’m about to install them now that I’m vertical and caffeinated.
Happy Father’s Day! In my book, it still counts if the bun hasn’t come out of the oven quite yet. My son wasn’t born until about 2 weeks after Father’s Day.
Edit: I just saw that this was from last year. Happy Father’s Day!
Probably the same thing that has American congress doing it. Ties to fossil fuel companies.
Yeah, that’s really fearmongery.
Most of the water that leaks out will be cooling water, which means deuterium mixed with normal water. There may be small amounts of tritium in it, but that’s not too worrying either.
Or Epstein -Barr. Or Varicella.
Eliminating all of those would be great.
It leaches enough radioactive water into the ground to fill an Olympic sized swimming pool every three years
That’s actually not bad. That’s a slow leak that has plenty of time to dilute with the ground water.
Dilution is the solution to pollution.
This is a fearmongering, sensationalist, click baity style article.
That was a Neo style dodge like in the Matrix.
Nuclear is cleaner and safer than coal.
In fact, a fly ash pond is both radioactive and full of carcinogenic substances.
I won’t concede any part of American English until they start pronouncing “aluminum” instead of “aluminium”.
We found the element, so we got to name it, and it doesn’t matter if it breaks with the naming convention that was already established.
Yeah, I had only joined Lemmy about a month prior, and that was the one suggested by Voyager.
It had garlic in it, but I gave him some cheese.
He wanted my food. 😅
I had food in my lap. It was a very serious face.
He’s very soft. If you start scritching just below his ear, he’ll turn his head sideways so you can get a better angle. 🥰
Completely rotten.
They announced that my Lemmy instance was shutting down, so I had to migrate.
Nice to be(e) here.
That’s me too. 🫠
This is only vaguely related, but I took 2 semesters of Japanese back when I was working on my geology degree. My professor was able to bring a koto player to the university, and explained that the profession was reserved for the blind in Japan - to ensure that there were some jobs available for them.
He hasn’t posted in several hours. Has the hosta taken him hostage?
I know, right? 🙂
