Of course that’s how they sell the idea initially. But we would be fools to think they aren’t planning on jacking up cost in a couple years to boost profits and expand surveillance to be sold to the highest bidder (fascists). History tells us that information will be used against their political opponents. Imagine how easy it’s going to be to target protestors and immigrants with a camera on every intersection

This is awesome. It makes me wonder if we somehow picked up on that through genetic memory or phonetic archetype when we started changing it back to more of a pejorative (i.e. “nice” guys)
You sound like a person who doesn’t get much done

Thanks! Think of all the miscommunication we could avoid with such an emoji

I always loved the way :P looks and hate the emoji version 😛😋
Also I made up my own once for sarcasm ;:)

This is so well written, thanks for sharing!

Would be better to lower the maximum wage
That’s awesome… It looks just like the park I used to take my exes kid to to fish in new Mexico
That fucker took the nuggets momentum! Such clear propaganda
Sure, but at this point, he’s lied so many times it’s like the boy who cried wolf. Even if it’s true we aren’t gonna believe him and that’s just him reapon what he has sewed

250k is SO LOW man. It’s not that hard to get by and be happy on 60k a year if you use your money right. Your happiness and peace can’t be quantified. Do you want to enjoy life, love people, and make the world better? Or just be another parasite who makes everyone’s life just a bit worse every day

Saṃsāra is a Sanskrit word that means “wandering” as well as “world,” wherein the term connotes “cyclic change” or, less formally, “running around in circles.” In the context of Indian religions and philosophies, saṃsāra is the concept of all beings experiencing an ongoing cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
In Hindu Philosophy and some Indian religions, samskaras or sanskaras are mental impressions, recollections, or psychological imprints that colour one’s thoughts and actions, and form the basis for the development of karma theory. In Buddhism, the Sanskrit term saṃskāra is used to describe “mental formations,”

This guy is a badass. He is an individual. He is not the Catholic church, but is an individual person within that church. It’s extremely bigoted to say “none of it matters” because of what other members of the Catholic church have done. It’s like telling a Catholic person, you refuse to be their friend or listen to what they have to say because of what their church has done

The terms are used almost interchangeably in Hindi. And used to describe something similar in Buddhism. I wonder why there’s so much overlap

Buddhists call this samsara or samskara. Our habits (whether good or bad) are the most difficult thing to break and breaking these cycles is also the most important skill to acquire
Where did you find that? My sister loves bunnies and knitting and I want to get it for her for her birthday
