Also dealing with a cold at the moment… I’m the first to get it this time which is a suprise.
Life wise all is good. No issues with school which is great as my eldest started secondary and it’s a huge change.
I don’t know what I’m doing but I’m here now…

Definitely underrated and also failed so hard. Will always be my favourite though.
Very different games but I would say Gran Turismo is better.
I do like Rage Racer more than both of these though.

Basically it’s nice to look at but completely useless.
That’s not much to go on but some general docs I’ve recently enjoyed are,
Same.
I don’t play often but I check in every few months for an update or new mods.
There a quite a few favourites over the years.
I’m not sure how I feel about mid-gen upgrades.
I’m all for something like the PS2/PS3 slim or Xbox 360/One S but a PS4/5 pro and One X just don’t interest me.
I also kind of despise the whole smartphone upgrade path that is the norm nowadays so I really hope consoles don’t continue the same way.
They got me! I couldn’t resist for that price.
That’s a lot of money for a generation that just isn’t worth it.
Spending hours online either on Phantasy Star Online or in the Dreamarena chat rooms.
Getting Shenmue and Shenmue II on launch days was a special time.

The Long Dark
Survival game set in the cold Canadian wilderness. Most “survival” games are actually just boring crafting games but TLD is very different for me as it is mostly about exploring in the freezing cold with natural predators around to keep you on edge.
The game makes for some beautiful photos but I still haven’t got around to playing Cyberpunk 2077 yet. I guess the awful lunch left an impression but I think it’s time.
It’s been a few years but I remember some unofficial patches that improved the game for modern times.
Management games where I can play really slowly and focus on small details, normally on very hard mode too so a lot of the easy ones don’t make the cut.
Football Manager and Software Inc are probably the ones I go back to most often.
Also 99% of the games I play I never complete…
I forgot about that trailer showing the classic re-makes. Have to wait and see but I don’t have much hope left in Sega.
Looks kinda promising but I need to wait for the real reviews.
I’m not going to argue my point any further but I will say, use it all for what you want. Absolute loyalty, which you seem to have, is pointless.
The question can be asked for most things in life really so just do both options. Generally I’m a “value for money” gamer now but If something catches my eye I will make an effort to support it.
