I think so too unfortunately. Even if Dems win a majority, how much, and w/o executive can’t change much. Then get blamed they had hearings for 2 years rather than unite and fix all the damage, that the bad choices last election caused/made worse, but no awareness of that.

Much easier and faster to destroy things than build, but tiktok feeds won’t mention that, and will convince enough to make the bad choices again. I hope I’m wrong and people show up and elect Dems with enough majority, for enough time, to make the changes people claim to want. It can’t be done if every other cycle destroys the progress Dems make when they ever have enough majority, and people don’t realize all this and think vote the other way to fix what they “feel” is wrong. Hopefully, if too many aren’t too strongly indoctrinated and identified with the team against unions and better worker benefits. Workers in other countries have benefits at all jobs, and they would never go back to the lack of benefits that usa workers accept. Workers here like to feel special that they have a job with “good benefits” that others don’t have so they prefer that. It’s part of the “pioneer, cowboy, self-made” story, but in reality it’s the same selfish and greed that runs deep and they’re proud of it.

Exactly, if the owners paid enough wages then people would make too much to qualify for the public assistance and would be happier and healthier. That’s what controlling systems don’t want, gotta keep the majority in scarcity mode so they keep making bad choices from stressed brain, can’t use prefrontal cortex as much which critical thinking requires.

Edit: higher wages also increases the tax base to help pay for all the things we should have, like all the other rich countries have figured out how to do.

Anything can be a blessing or punishment depending how they spin it. Like the punish/reward cycles high-control systems use to hook people, make them fear then offer the solution, how convenient.

Oh but there’s a perfect plan where all this was required and all are saved if they say the right words with enough sincerity! Sarcasm of course. It’s easy to see how all the supernatural systems evolved and used parts from earlier ones to make the newest one the most amazing, to benefit those in power especially men, and the same high-control methods are used in all areas of life, unhealthy, but still pervasive.
