I think I’m just not familiar enough with image manipulation software, but GIMP feels way too complex to even get started with…
As someone who dual boots Linux Mint and Windows 11, can confirm, Mint is a much simpler install process…
I personally recommend Mint, but ultimately others will have different opinions and you decide what you want.
