    I agree that its tasteless, but the cars are most likely directly responsible for the intensity of this disaster. Ofcourse only in part but so far the world has not made any significant progress in getting rid of them.

      According to statista, cars and vans account for around 10% of global CO2 emissions.

      For comparison, aviation accounts for around 2.5% of emissions, and more than half of it is produced by private jets.

      Putting major responsibility on victims of floods is just absolutely cruel and ignorant.

        The original post doesnt in any way put responsibility for this disaster on individual victims. It just states the fact that actions have consequences and that we cant avoid them for much longer. Just accept reality. Millions will die unless we do something. Its not the time to be mad about a slightly insensitive post.
