My husband is Russian.
What’s the best VPN?
Amnezia VPN / your own VLESS server (more reliable).
Do you believe it is possible to overthrow Putin? What is actual support for Putin among Russians you know?
I’ll skip the first question due to who my husband is. Second question: among the Russians I personally know? High. Among the general population? Higher now than it was at the beginning of the special military operation.
Why do you call it a special military operation?
Sarcasm or willing propagandist?
Do you support Putin? Why/not?
Is the current support due to the violent suppression of criticism and fear of defenestration, or is it because of the lack of information reaching citizens?
Or do citizens just enjoy the killing and the raping?
Are you an agent in any way for the Kremlin?
Is this post an op?
Putin is a clown.
(You said ask anything - unanswered/avoided questions will be assumed affirmative)
Because as a person living in Russia, calling what’s happening in Ukraine anything else could be used against you. Unless talking about the “war with the collective West”… I’m apolitical. The current support is due to consumption of state media and the effects of sanctions on the citizens. Agent of the Kremlin and op? Now that’s just paranoid conspiracy talk.
Nothing about anything I asked is paranoid.
This is the world we live in.
Your responses are what I expected.
If you believe a person is a “state agent” or a post is an “op” just because they don’t respond in a way that’s, colloquially said, shitting where they eat… that’s paranoid. Just proves you’re out of touch with socio-cultural aspects & living a comfortable life, safe of persecution; probably in the US - complete opposite of the people you’re expecting the “revolutionary” responses from.
Are people saying they’re struggling more because of the sanctions?
The SWIFT ban against Russian banks is the most felt sanction. A lot of Russians have family living abroad and it’s difficult to send / receive money, pay for things online, etc. As for as goods, stores don’t have shortages & most brands that “left” Russia in 2022 have just rebranded and still operate here now (KFC is now Rostic’s, Starbucks is Stars Coffee, Levi’s is JNS, Apple is re:Store, McDonald’s is Vkusno i tochka, etc.).
I imagine this post would be better received if the account weren’t 2 hours old.
I imagine people would’ve heard about throwaways by now…
Roughly how far (km, hours or towns over) is your nearest “Vkusno I Tochka”, former McDonald’s restaurant? Has the quality changed over the last couple years?
