Something that’s not getting as much publicity as it probably should. This got put up in the Coburg library, a friend of mine alerted me to it last night.

That’s wild are you gonna ask your dr for the test? It would be good if it can be cleared with antibiotics. Edit: nvm I just saw your post yesterday

Now I’m worried about the dry skin around my nose, though I’m sure it’s just allergies. I hope you feel better soon, Peeler, it’s gonna be okay 💜

ooh I had one a few years ago on the back of my calf. Was basically a 10c coin sized thing that took about a year to go away. Got it from down the bellarine where it’s quite common. For me it was really mild / didn’t hurt or itch. Interestingly the bacteria belongs to the same family as tuberculosis and leprosy.

Mine started like a ringworm looking thing, so I treated it accordingly and it flared up massively and popped up in a couple of other places on my biceps and thighs. Then I went to the Dr and he thought it was Impetigo so prescribed me antibiotics for a week. It did nothing and during that week spread even worse. Now I have open ulcerating wounds on my thighs and biceps, with other spots like the original ones popping up on my calves and lower arms 😳😳😳

Googling it because I’ve never heard of it before:

“A rare and exotic bacterial infection of the skin and soft tissue”

exotic makes it sound so appealing, lol.
