We have jpop and kpop, where is the cpop? The only things I can find through lazy searching are from a decade ago.

Not at all, I’m old. Really just curious if there was a current pop scene there or not.
You have K-Pop, but Chinese pop doesn’t exist. Chinese rap (crap) exists though.

It’s a joke. Chinese rap. C-rap. Crap. I haven’t listened to it before.
It exists and is usually broken out into at least 2 kinds MandoPop for mainland china mandarin and CantoPop for Cantonese from Southern China
Had a bunch of buddies into Jay Chou but I think that falls in the 20 years ago category.
