We’re at an inflection point where millions of people might be able to break free of the big social media companies. It has to be worth their while to jump to fedi, but if it’s a hassle, they’re just going to go somewhere else like bsky or Threads, and then we’ll all be locked into the Wheel of Pain for another decade or so until that platform enshitifies.
You’re really illustrating the problem the OP is trying to fix quite nicely.
Mate you’re basically denying the whole identity of a certain kind of poster, if opening their mouth required thoughtfullness they’d be forever silent and turn to dust
