Some of the things you can do are so evil I wouldn’t even do them for an achievement.
This was my friend after I gaslighted him into thinking he could recruit Alfira the bard when he was playing as a durge and she came to camp. He was overjoyed with himself talking about how much he loved her. Permanent emotional damage.
I wanted to do a evil durge run, then ended up doing the good durge run… But next time, I’ll definitely do the evil run, and not turn soft mid run… I hope
man, I just wish there was s full embrace the absolute path. rise up to replace what’s her face of bhaal, but otherwise just advance their plans to play out the way the wanted.
i want to go full cult fanatic. the current evil runs are too similar to the good runs. maybe if the good run didn’t more or less shoehorn you into “infiltrating” the tower. like if moonrise was always hostile to good players and you unlocked it as a town by being bad.
as it stands now, you almost exclusively lose things or miss opportunities by being bad. there’s very little extra story to uncover in a bag guy run. there’s a few different endings, but those were added with like the last patch.
the evil playthrough is one of this games weak points. divinity is much better at that.
I was about to embrace the murder but then Minthara told me that all that beautiful murdering was beeing done in the name of some absolute and not for the joy of it. Which irritated my character a lot so I rejected her and we had a fight in camp just after having a pretty steamy night.
So know my tav is a lost soul questioning whether all violence is good and for some reason I just can’t bring myself to kill that moon girl…
Haha that was my breaking point aswell, couldn’t bring myself to kill the moon girl. And that’s were my run turned good
Even bad guys can have a soft spot for scratch
