About ten years ago when I was on Twitter someone tweeted to please go report an account which was horrible without saying why. So I went to the account. Twitter in those days had thumbnails of the pictures you posted at the bottom of your account that you could swipe through, so you saw a bunch of photos at once instead of individually, and it was child sexual abuse material. Thankfully it was only thumbnail sized so I just got a sense of it without really seeing horrifying detail, but I was pretty depressed.
I don’t know, the world is depressing. Recently, details about Palestine have been disheartening…

Yes, you need to say more. I have absolutely no idea what that is and I don’t want to Google it if it’s really that horrifying.
She was a Japanese high school student who was kidnapped, raped, tortured, and finally murdered after 40 days by a group of teenage boys who almost all got severely light sentences. The perpetrators were known to have bragged about their crimes and their family members desecrated her grave for ruining their sons’ lives.
