That The Knack/Ting Tings/Toni Basil mashup got me thinking about other great mashups, so I’m wondering what your favorites are. Here are a few of mine:
- This Green Day/Collective Soul mashup is just one of the best, most seamless I’ve heard.
- Kind of like the funny ones, and this Taylor Swift/NIN mashup makes me giggle
- My all-time favorite, because it’s both really well done and is hysterically funny to me, has to be this The Wiggles/Slipknot mashup

I’ve not actually heard any in so so long, but Bad vs Ghostbusters was a classic mashup back in the day (with sound quality to match) lol

All Star with The Sickness is, for me, the perfect mashup, to the point where I can’t separate the songs now.
Honorable mention to any of the many Thomas the Tank Engine mashups (like this one, for example).
I hadn’t heard The Sickness, but can still tell that’s a good one.
Amerigo Gazaway - Fela Soul - Fela Kuti vs. De La Soul is an album I still listen to regularly. Feel Good Inc. is a stand out.
All 3 Beastles albums by dj BC are really well done: dj BC presents The Beastles, Let It Beast, and Ill Submarine
Sweet Jane (With Affection) by Two Nice Girls isn’t a mashup, per se, but a blending of Velvet Underground’s “Sweet Jane” with Joan Armatrading’s “Love and Affection.”

I really like “All I Want For Christmas is the Beautiful People (Mariah Carey and Marilyn Manson)”. I always like to share with people who complain about one of the songs during Christmas time, as they usually do enjoy this one!
