Ukrainian Tank and Bradley Assault Took a DEADLY Turn — But NOT How Russia Expected

Ukrainian tanks and American Bradley fighting vehicles are returning to direct assaults on the Kharkiv and Kupiansk fronts, despite the Russian drone threat that has made armored operations increasingly dangerous. Protected by steel cages, rubber screens and a coordinated team of Ukrainian drones, these vehicles are attempting something that seemed almost impossible: moving into the open, striking Russian positions and making it back alive.

The 475th Assault Regiment CODE 9.2 is demonstrating a new approach to mechanized warfare, with bomber drones, reconnaissance quadcopters and FPV interceptors protecting armored vehicles throughout the mission. But can this tactic bring tanks and Bradleys back to the offensive, or will Russian drones keep them behind the lines? From Ukrainian Abrams upgrades to the latest battlefield footage, this is how Ukraine is adapting its armor to survive the drone war.

This is both radical and uniquely Ukrainian and also the same solution to the same central problem Armor has always faced, which is the powerful image of a tank is an illusion, they are fragile babies that must be shepherded along by infantry, artillery and close air support and I would argue that Ukraine has applied close air support here to accomplish this. Wheels are not new, but Ukraine reinvented versions of wheels no one else would have thought to is my point.
