It’s weirdly the same on a bunch of similar places. Upliftingnews-type comms/subs.

Like we get that you’re miserable all the time and have to tell everyone but there’s <every other sub> for that. Go somewhere else, or hang out and be positive.

Because the content is not true of everyone particularly the final point, and not everyone has opportunity to enjoy everything else. It’s an entitled view of the world and you give it to one of the aforementioned people you will get a negative reaction.

It’s hard to focus on that with all of this horror around us, this helps, thank you

Well it is kind of hard to be born anywhere else than earth and luckily most of us ‘accidentally’ have parents that love us. What a coincidence that they dont love a random child instead.

Maybe near where you are, but check the statistics, I don’t think you are correct in your statement, particularly world-wide (since the context was Earth).

Anyway this is not the community to discuss such matters further, I just wanted to be helpful in pointing that out.

I don’t have to check the statistics to know everyone was born from a parent. ‘Most of us’ seems statistically correct for the demographic of people who get to see this post?

And otherwise, the post is also just false as it states ‘you are met by people who smile when they see you’, or something. This is simply not true for everyone.

You can’t change what is beyond your ability to do so, but conversely, be the change that you want to see in the world, like become the kind of person that people just cannot help themselves but smile whenever they see you come around. Be light, be helpful, be kind, and all that jazz - like one way is to just literally smile more and be positive. Don’t do it if you don’t want to, but I bet if you did, then people would respond more positively to you (okay so not literally everyone but in general some, possibly even most?). At least that’s what I’m trying out in my life right now. Bc karma exists, sorta.

Anyway, you do you, but just a heads up that in this particular community we are all about smiles - that’s what to expect every time you visit us here 😁. I hope that… maybe… you can’t help but smile at that thought, perchance? 😊

O I’m all for positivity. But this post is just so shallow… It seems to be a trend now to post something similar to this. And they all go “be thankful that you’re on a planet with peaches, waterfalls, sunrises, etc.”

There’s nicer things to post to uplift some spirits. But I agree, maybe this community isn’t for me. It’s not what I expected. I expected nice memes, not recycled posts. I unsubscribed so I will not offend anyone else here with my unwanted criticism.
