At least over in Thailand, not in the same intensity as it is over in South Korea but I do occasionally hear some inking of the messy gender war discourse in regards to China and Japan. It has been a while though.
I’m sure someone smarter can likely trace the current messy situation between a mixture of confucianism (and it’s offshoots) and a hopeless capitalist system with no out.
