I’ve heard this from a friend of mine living there, in which they consider this a load of BS (language such as: “you gain control over SM algorithms” or “keeping kids safe on the internet” certainly don’t help). To me, the way they are saying it gives the intention of becoming Orwellian (as it’s vague on how is digital duty of care is meant to be enforced). More like considering on locking those with opinions behind bars.
