I’ve been trying to find digital versions of two soviet books about the soviet approach to the languages of the USSR. However, I haven’t been able to find them anywhere, including anna’s archive and the internet archive.
Are there other ways of getting access to these books’ PDFs/EPUBs?
The books:
- “National Languages in the USSR: Problems and Solutions” by M. I. Isaev
- “The Development of the Languages of the Peoples of the USSR in the Soviet Epoch” by Yu. D. Desheriev and I. F. Protchenko

Do you need them in English or in Russian?
I unfortunatly don’t know Russian so I need them in English
As a last resort you can run ebooks through a translation engine. It’s far from ideal as computer translations from Russian are often quite poor, but it’s at least enough to get the basic idea.
Yeah I’d rather not having to read them that way but I guess It is an option
