I really have to lock in during the mornings at the office because this place gets so hot and stuffy in the afternoon you can’t concentrate on anything
beach
Gorgeous afternoon for it!! I had my lunch out in the sun and wanted to take a cat nap!
Small turnout in the office today so they got KFC in, it was worth riding I guess. I only wanted chips at most but I got affectionately coerced into having a burger the way women do
mornin’ 🌞
Saw a nice t shirt on a lissome young lady on the tram. It read “Be a unicorn. Grow Up. Stab people with your head.” Says it all really.
I’ve been learning a lot about my cultural heritage while my cousin is here. Turns out there’s a whole section of Egypt who are incredibly stubborn, highly value their dignity and are highly self reliant.
Kinda interesting.
They sound like good attributes. ☺️
😬
as long as the attributes aren’t taken to the extreme they are fine
The stubbornness one is highly debatable lol
Treat Review: Mars Bar Rice Crispy: If this was an actual slice, I’d be all over it. But as a Mars Bar, it kind of felt over complicating the Mars Bar and it felt messier. Quite tasty, might have again, but would prefer it as a little square on a bit of butchers paper…
Anyone had any fun treats lately they’d like to share?
Hmm good timing, one of the boys just brought this in and it’s surprisingly good. The watermelon hit is just right and too overpowering. Nice combo.
I don’t really eat chocolate ever and I’m not sure if this is a new thing or not.
I want to try it, but I’m too mad about it being an MCo collab that I refuse until it’s in the clearance bin, so thank you for the review!
I haven’t been snacking lately but every now and again Aldi have Scorched Peanut Bites so I picked up a box for YL to give to her dad for father’s day. He asked her where she got them from “Aldi. I knew you liked them so that’s why I got them”. She didn’t even come into the shop with me 😂. Anyway they are really really good.
To be fair it was his birthday 2 weeks ago so she was all out of ideas.
The Old Gold Bundaberg rum choc is… fine. Wouldn’t bother a second time. The dark choc coated ginger out of the scoop & weigh thingy is really damn good! Really zingy batch. ⚡️
Yay for scoop and weigh wins!! I’m a sucker for a scoop of the peanut butter pretzels, so good!
I think I saw someone steal a bike at the train station yesterday.
I walked up to the steps leading to the platform and past the bike rack where a guy was unlocking the lock. He looked up. He was struggling. He did it then rode away.
But that look at me. He didn’t have a helmet. And it was 8 minutes since the last train. Takes 15 seconds to get to the bike racks.
I think he was just trying different keys until he found one that worked.
I can’t prove it tho and what could I have done anyway. I was the only other person at the train station. I kinda feel bad for the bike owner.

Integrating the new 10" sub into the studio tm.
Can’t wait.
So it’ll be 2 x 7" main monitors, 2 x 8" sub + 1 x 10" sub.
Doesn’t sound like much but it will be BONE CRUSHING. Relatively small room / studio so me and my sternum’s resonant frequency are ready. 🙃
That low end is gonna sound nuts. Time to set the analogue synth down 12 steps
What brand?
New sub is a presonus eris 10 :) For its size it’s kinda impressive. Only weighs 17kgs compared to the ol’ behringer 2092A which is 33kgs. Sounds way better and a bit easier on the back to move lol.
Presonus speakers are fucking amazing! Big upgrade over the behringer.
So you can clean the house and resuscitate people with this thing?
resuscitate people
If they helped me clean the bits where the subby doesn’t reach I’d consider it 😊
Stuck the action camera on the bike for the ride to work this morning. The wide angle lense and the right shutter settings are already creating some great motion blur. I’m waiting for it to export on my phone to have a flick through it
I’ve done a few rides with my Action 5 on my bike and freaking LOVE how it’s turned out. I’m just really really lazy with editing.
It looks good. I might supercut some things like riding over bridges or something to comp together into a reel
I like pain, but this is next level bullshit. My lower half is a witch’s cauldron, my head HURTS!
I AM THE WHINGE QUEEN, GENUFLECT AND BESTOW UPON HER YOUR OFFERINGS OF PAINKILLERS
Too late now, but a stinking hot curry about three days before seemed to help with the lower awfulness. I got this idea from a highly non medical book, YMMV
Those vajayjays sure seem to give some owners trouble. Best wishes for your pelvic comfort.
Hehe it’s such a great name for it
Imagine there’s a gif here of Lisa Simpson claiming she’s the Lizard Queen
I’ve got it on a tshirt, one of my favourites lol
The M-Vave FM-1 arrived. A quick tinker and it’s pretty impressive; speaker battery, effects, sequencer. All for under $100. I have some of those Roland units like the E-4 that came out a little while ago, it’s a similar footprint. I’ll have to see how well they play with each other
Midi out?
I was wrong. I’ve actually read the manual now and it does midi over Bluetooth, USB, and 3.5mm
OK I’m getting one lol even just for the sequencing over midi. Last thing I had that did that was the launchpad pro and it wasn’t cheap.
Over USB. Those little Rolands use the 3.5mm Jack for midi, but they might support it over USB as well
I hate this fucking reality sometimes
This is not reality - it’s functional fantasy. The horrible part is that there are people that think it IS real.
You’re right. I meant as far as an obvious product placement is disguising itself as an article.
Oh I see now. Product placement has been a problem since the James Bond films and is now metastasizing through all culture. Civilisation is about to fall (for the umpteenth time).
Does late stage capitalism count as civilisation ending? lol
It’s beginning to feel that way.
To some people that amount of money is nothing. Sadly am not one of those people, so I guess their ad won’t work on me!
The corporate media doesn’t even try to manufacture consent anymore, they just write articles like this
now they just tell people they “should”, like it’s a duty or imperitive
That’s the part that caught my attention. Our lords and masters have decreed we must CONSUME AT ANY COST!!!
should/shall are very powerful words, they are the words of the Ten Commandments and words in legal statutes.
In India iphones cost more than a basic car. It’s outrageous
and yet, when I bought my first home pc it was really expensive. And a printer too. 1984 spent nearly 3,000 on the whole set up, in today’s money that is 11,650. But for us it was an investment in a career .
the last phone I paid for was a Nokia 3310. I’ll continue my scavenging, thank you
Now that it’s all done and dusted, I will scream from the rafters… DO NOT BUY FROM PURRPOD.COM.AU What a fucking SHAM of a company.
purr-pod
