Not gonna lie, my mind first went to “Narnia parody” since it was from Perry Bible Fellowship instead of “gladiator duel”
I thought it is a parody of the sci-fi story where there is a room that can create anything and kids are too antisocial to use it responsibly.
The Veldt - Ray Bradbury. Also it’s a bit darker than you just summarized, just in case someone hasn’t read it. It’s a very short story.
