We’re more than a nation known for maple syrup and neighbourly friendliness. We’re compassionate: A relatively small town in Gander, Newfoundland, fed, housed, and emotionally supported Americans during the 911 crisis. The “Canadian Caper” was another time we aided the U.S. (there’s a movie about that). We have supported the United States for years in bogus wars at the expense of our young Canadian people. And now, the U.S. blasts us with tariffs? Thank you, Mark Carney, for saying enough is enough!
