That hurt to read, because there are some genuine words of wisdom sprinkled around in her post among a much higher quantity of drone-speak.

Being busy working on things you care about CAN be good for you and help you define the meaning in your life. But holy shit it’s not because having a better title or more money makes you a good or happy person who isn’t dead inside. The whole fucking point is to find out what gives your particular brain contentment, and not to mindlessly seek the rewards society tells everybody they must strive for.

And her changing the world with her slop startup, while paying to promote her post so more people can read about how awesome she is, lol. Funny how we don’t see these posts from people working long hours trying to cure diseases or improve the world. Maybe it’s because those people actually feel validated and content and don’t have to desperately farm for it from strangers.

children are often happiest when they see their parents fulfilled, alive and deeply engaged with their own purpose.

Your children would have to actually see you for that, which they barely will with poor work-life balance. When they finally do, you’re probably too exhausted to do something with them and be angry instead because of your exhaustion.

“They become equally important, perhaps even more so.”

Her kids are not necessarily more important than her job. So if she ever has to make a decision between losing her job or her kids, it would be very difficult to choose. 🙄

I know who won’t be visited by her kids when she is old.

You have to remember a lot of investors are explicitly looking for human sacrifice believing it will help them get wealthier.

It helps put this post in context.

The richest and most priviliged people, the kind who never really had to struggle from nothing to something, gave takes like these.

A parasite which leeches off of actual news sites. Truly innovation that is following the trend of the times.

Thankyou for saving me the bother. I usually like to check who these loonies actually work for. It’s almost always advertising, a.i., or advertising with a.i.

        They’re creating nothing worthwhile.

Yeah, I would have though this was obvious to everyone. Not even a LinkedInLunatic cares if a conference room is named after them.

But it seems plenty here are eating the onion.

Fuck off. They’re talking about cranking the value of a stock by a few cents by committing borderline criminal behavior like they’re fucking visionaries. I am so sick of these people.
