Saw a post on Reddit the other day, it was an unconventional way of dealing with dysphoria.
The post basically said to take pictures of yourself and then trace the outlines of your own body. And to be honest, this was a pretty big confidence boost 😆

I’ve posted these pictures before, on this account. I don’t like these pictures at all tbh. I may be completely blind, but I just don’t see it…
I honestly have no idea why this worked any better, but it did! A lot better!

Here are the pictures

I was NOT about to trace the exact outline of my hair in the second one (I have a life, you know), so I just used a mask 😆
GIMP FTW!

Also, that black rectangle is a mirror, if you couldn’t tell 😂

This is…actually me. This is what I look like…
And I don’t mind that. I’m actually really okay with that.

Girls, this might be completely crazy, but give it a try! It may help temporarily, it might not help at all…
But I was pleasantly surprised with the results.

Until next time, cuties 🩷

Edit: God I suck at drawing anything tho

      Thank you 🩷

Unobtainable? Sorry for assuming, but your bones might already be set (mine are too), however fat distribution can help a lot.
Sorry again for assuming, but maybe with a couple more years of HRT (or not, it’s totally your choice!), your hips could be even nicer than mine 😄

      I believe in you ♥️

See, the problem with fat redistribution on HRT is that it doesn’t happen if your body doesn’t have any fat on it to redistribute :P

I’m practically a walking skeleton (182cm/53kg), and everyone in my direct family is built similarly (e.g. my brother is 184cm/48kg) so it’s pretty clearly genetic. I’ve looked at this with quite few specialists (dieticians, endocrinologists, …) and the general consensus seems to be that in order to outpace my absurdly fast metabolism, I need to be eating at least something like 5’000kcal/day (assuming no exercise!) just to break even, and more than that in order to actually start gaining fat. So far I haven’t managed to figure out a way to actually shovel that many calories down my throat every day without giving myself constant stomachaches and indigestion, so I’m basically stuck like this until I either manage to find some calorie-dense smoothie recipe which doesn’t leave me feeling like shit all day, or spend my life hooked up to an IV dumping a constant stream of nutrients directly into my bloodstream.

Maybe someday I’ll just throw up my hands in despair and get hip/thigh implants ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

          182cm/53kg

          👀
          Oh…
          I’m 1cm taller than you and about 14kg heavier. That’s insane…

That is indeed an absurdly fast metabolism, holy crap.

          my brother is 184cm/48kg

          WAT

I need to be eating at least something like 5’000kcal/day (assuming no exercise!)

          😭
I’m so sorry girl…I had no idea. I shouldn’t have assumed or brought it up at all…I’m sorry.

Those are some crazy genes, and I’m probably wrong…but have you had your thyroid checked? It’s definitely not it, since your brother is the same…but I’ve heard hyperthyroidism can really speed up your metabolism.

Again, I’m really sorry…this is dangerously underweight. Please take care of yourself. Wishing you the best 🩵
