Spoilers for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, obviously.

I love the fact that the kiss did not break the spell. I was about to be so disappointed with such cheesy predictable writing and then they flip it, and I was relieved, but also enjoyed the great writing behind it.

It was perfect. I hope they don’t ever break/undo the spell, but if they do it at this point I won’t be disappointed since this was done so perfectly.

It was one of those great “theater scenes” where everyone is excited and trying to figure it out and then… crushed.

In the comics he can break the spell by just telling people that knew him before who he is. They just suddenly remember everything. I always thought that was a cheap way to retcon who knows his identity. I like this better.

Also, in the comics, Hulk remembers who Spidey is because he wasn’t present when the spell was cast, or something like that, it’s been a while. I think they alluded to that when Hulk stopped beating on Peter when he lost the mask.
