minus-squarebob_lemon@feddit.orglinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up10·3 months agoMinimum is listed as 8GB. 16GB is recommended.

minus-squareatopi@piefed.blahaj.zonelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4·3 months agoBedrock is way more optimised than java It was made to work on phones
minus-squarefurry toaster@lemmy.blahaj.zonelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·3 months agowas more optimized, java runs fine on phones, you just need a couple performance mods
minus-squareSustolic@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·3 months agoVanilla maybe, but lightly modded Java has been more optimized than bedrock since at least 1.16.5
minus-squareTruscape@lemmy.blahaj.zonelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·3 months agoThat was true at a certain point during its life, but after the RTX support was added performance optimization came crashing down. Sodium on Java runs laps around bedrock nowadays.
minus-squareSustolic@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·3 months agoYeah you can get away with a lot when it comes to 1.21.1+ coupled with Java 25
