Have you never comprehended the absolute basics of user-generated content and how the website owners are not responsible for their user’s own actions, practically every website you interact with has a checkbox you agree to on signup which specifies precisely this
I guess all other companies that distribute AI models designed for other use cases but whereby this is possible by nature of the very technology itself are guilty of this too, and if you decided to write 10 names in your next comment and murder them all next week that’s Lemmy’s fault for providing the platform too, and if someone on Neocities makes a website of <insert anything bad or against the law here> that’s Neocities fault for providing the technology too, and if you bought some pencils and stabbed some dude with it that’s the pencil companies fault for making them too sharp, and if someone said a slur in a LittleBigPlanet level once at the age of 11 that was totally Media Molecule’s fault for allowing voice recordings too XD

Imagine unironically trying to state that user generated content breaking rules on any online platform offering a service with rules is the fault of the provider and not the user lmfaoooo, brain fundamentals M.I.A, I guess if you hit someone with your car today it’s the manufacturers fault for allowing your car to move fast and be steered ofc and 100% not your fault!
