Maybe splitting hairs, but to my understanding, there’s a difference between Swedish Death Metal and (Swedish) Melodic Death Metal, aka The Gothenburg sound. In case you like one and not the other.
Big Swedish Death and Melodeath fan here. The first three easy recommendations for me would be Entombed -Wolverine Blues, At the Gates - Slaughter of the Soul, and In Flames - Colony.
