A place I worked at had a “union scare” as management called it. They forced everybody to watch anti-union propaganda video. It was tough to stifle the laughs because it was so cartoonish and infantilizing. Management keep eyeing the employees during the whole thing.

It certainly left a bad taste in my mouth.

Don’t forget the ping-pong table in that background that people get mad if you use…

I worked at a place that had beer and ping-pong, but you were only allowed to use it after five… They really thought we were gonna stay and play and “bond“. The worst part was the group of kiss asses who actually did every day.

Unionization is a compromise. Cut out the middlemen(CEO/C-Suite) and make your work employee owned. Socialize the workplace.

I’m going to guess that it’s a cleverly disguised four pizzas in one box. I kind of doubt there’s actually a pizza oven that big.

I think the crust continues between the sections. My guess is on forced perspective trickery. The dudes hand is not in front of the packaging, weird way to hold it. And the salami slices would have to be quite oddly big I think, if it was at floor height.

It really doesn’t (union workers get ~10-20% more, which can be ~5-15% on overall expenses for a business, vs ~$100/month for ‘teambuilding’ with pizza and dollar store soda) but you know what does? A bazillion hours of OT, training time, opportunity costs, and HR time spent on hiring and firing churn because no one wants to work under shitty management.
