Doctors nationwide are encountering more children with whooping cough, bacterial infections and other serious illnesses, as well as more adults refusing tetanus shots.
Wouldn’t it be a sane decision to deny insurance coverage for diseases that could have been prevented by vaccines?
they promote vaccination and preventative care and its free to avoid paying for infectious diseases which can cost them alot of money, antibiotics, antivirals, hospitlizations, surgeries for unvaccinated people. thats why they charge Hospital visits quite a lot to discourage people form using it.
wether they will deny care is probably going to be tricky depending on the insurance, and even your region.
I’d like to see parents of unvaccinated children criminally charged with child endangerment, if not actual attempted murder.
Dick Wolf already did that on law and order svu lol. A while back as well.

oh yea i think another one where they refuse to vaccinate for measles and end up killing another childs baby.
I think negligent homicide is a suitable charge for antivax parents whose kids are killed by a preventable disease
I think you may be confusing “satisfying” with “sane”.
Unfortunately, the sane response is to try to help even the incredibly dumb people from the consequences of their actions, if only to limit the impact on the rest of society. If treatment isn’t covered, then they won’t seek treatment, their disease will get worse, and it will spread further.
How do they know this is related? Maybe people just stopped washing their hands? /s
Shocking, I wonder if the two are related
Huge unforced error
“Tetanus (from [Ancient Greek] *[τέτανος] *‘tension’, ‘stretched’, ‘rigid’), also known as lockjaw, is a [bacterial infection] caused by [Clostridium tetani] and characterized by [muscle spasms]. In the most common type, the spasms begin in the jaw and then progress to the rest of the body. Each spasm usually lasts for a few minutes. Spasms occur frequently for three to four weeks. Some spasms may be severe enough to [fracture bones].” -Wikipedia
It’s one of the most horrible ways to die and these people are enthusiastically inviting it on their kids.
Yeah let’s die of lockjaw, that’ll show em! Not me, I’m vaccinated, my kids will show em though!
Shocking /s
