Anyone else seen John Carpenter’s BodyBags where a serial killer possessed Mark Hamill rapes 1960’s supermodel Twiggy and you totally see his butt and taint (and hers) for an uncomfortably long time?
Are you trying to trauma bond or something
Even though Trek is better than Wars, this proves that Mark is a better person than Bill.
Bill was offended about Leonard sharing starring credits (I believe this was S02. SO1 of the original broadcast it was just Bill)
And another thing where Wars wins is the music. Star Trek has some memorable music but Star Wars is iconic.
Also the theme from Robocop 2 is almost the same as the theme for Star Trek 4.
Star wars is also a feast for your eyes and ears with incredible sound design and practical effects.
I still like trek more personally but I can appreciate both!
Star Trek was more “heady”. Prior to Star Wars sci-fi movies put more of an emphasis on a good story.
I prefer trek and its not even close but the Star Wars music is just better.
Also, I love Its Been a Long Road, but never got into Enterprise that much.
The repeating lyrics and repeating rhymes bother me.
Yeah. Sometimes I just go into the Enterprise theme song while I’m taking a bath. Correction: shower.
Somewhere out on youtube are the screen tests he’s talking about. It’s very good that they chose Hamill and Harrison for the parts. Several of the other actors were great actors, but would have been terrible for the part, and some were just bad.
A certain point of view?
I so wish that Lucas had leaned into the Clone aspect of the clone wars more and done a pod people.
Instead of robot armies, it would have been key members of society being replaced by identical clones, with Jedi being the only ones who could reliably spot the difference, at least at first.
Somewhere toward the middle of the Clone Wars they would discover an Anakin clone, the first successful Jedi clone, Obiwan then trains the clone, who Anakin later kills in anger and jealousy. Eventually a purely technological means is found of detecting clones, but by then the Emperor is in charge. (he had the tech from the beginning, but only released it when he was fully in control)
And if I ever get a time machine, I’m using it to make that change.
Or maybe George Lucas just couldn’t remember all the details from your version. That would explain some inconsistencies between the various parts Star Wars.
