I skimmed the video, but as a prior cooks hill resident, the removal of the heavy rail to Newcastle station was a travesty and was entirely fuelled by property devs that wanted that stable corridor (no undermining) for developments. I’ll happily use the tram when I visit, but it could have been so much more.

I don’t miss living under the nsw government at all.
