    No, having to join multiple websites to converse with people on those websites is how traditional social media works.

    Being able to talk with people on one instance of a website from a different instance of a website is how federation works

        Each instance has it’s own block list. the admins of feddit.uk decide what does and doesn’t go on the feddit.uk block list.

        The admins/users of feddit.uk have no say on what is or isn’t on the lemmy.world block list

        Ergo this conversation does not affect you. the fact that this post federated over to your instance is moot
