Lib. “Crony capitalism” is not a thing. It’s just capitalism. There is no form of capitalism that doesn’t involve cronyism, that is just the natural conclusion of private ownership.
I agree with you 100%, and Marx was very clear that capitalism is filled with theft and oppression. It’s nice that Marx also at times rested his critique of capitalism abstracting all the crony-ness and analyzed capitalism with ‘good intentions,’ showing that even without the oppression/theft it’s a failed system.

I haven’t seen any of the episodes in the years. But considering the creator of the show is French. If there ever was going to be one, it would be his lol.
I recommend the new series. It’s a bit more adult. It’s kind of more grown up just like the kids that watched the original are more grown up so far. I’m 5 episodes in and it’s solid. Still retains that same frenetic spirit.
I will have to see if they’re upon max or whatever it’s called now. I no longer have a cable subscription or any way to watch it like that.
