      Probably better answers out there:

Whimsy as in a bit of fun randomness. Think fae. Humans without any tend to be inflexible jerks. Like the manger in incredibles.

Trinket - some item you have on you that gives minor happiness state boost but could have dual purpose. Standard Human variations are watches, rings, pins on backpack. More witchy vibes would be something handmade from pebble, feather, or beads.

Whimsy is fancy and playful and often magical. It is joy dressed up in a wizard, fairy-princess costume.

Trinkets are little things that bring you joy. They’re not gadgets; they don’t usually do anything. Their purpose is happiness.

People need to embrace joy. Cynicism might literally be killing them.

On the plus side, ‘proper holes’ doesnt make me automatically think of sex stuff anymore.

On the other hand, certain visceral bloody metaphors for social conformity come to mind.

I have a rock that is imbued with special powers that I found near a graveyard (near, not in–I wouldn’t steal from the dead).

I feel so bad for people who don’t have their own special rock. I guess they’re just rubbing their phone and holding their bluetooths pairing buttons, hoping for a thimbleful of what my rock gives out by the pint. 😞
